I have knots deep in my rhomboid muscles that are so ridiculously tough that people can hear it crunching when I massage those areas. The bright side is that most of the time my shoulder is too numb for it to bother me, but when it flares up it gets really painful. It's those times that the ZMA-19 feels like a godsend. It takes an enormous amount of pressure on my main trigger points for me to feel any relief, and I actually decided to buy the ZMA-19 after seeing that it massages so hard people left negative reviews. :') I actually wish it could be harder. I find the best position to get at those deep shoulder knots is to lay back flat to the ground/mattress with your shoulders on it, and bridge your hips up so that you're pushing your shoulders into the massager. For a gentler massage I arrange pillows around it so my weight isn't fully on it, or I'll throw a thick blanket over it. It doesn't completely relieve my trigger points, but when the pain flares up it's still a huge relief, and a convenient alternative if I can't have someone else massage me.

UPDATE 06/22/18: I lost the power cable and emailed customer service to ask if they send replacement parts. They just asked for the order # or a photo of the model as proof of purchase and shipped it to me free of charge. Got it in the mail the next day. Bumping from 4 to 5 stars for excellent customer service!

Great massager! I have a really bad back and neck from injuries suffered about 40 years ago. I have had a larger shiatsu massager from another manufacturer for several years, but it was too big to use on my neck. I did an internet search for neck massagers and found the Zyllion. The price was great, but I was a little skeptical because of the low price. I ordered it because I was desperate, and it looked like it would fit my neck nicely. What a pleasant surprise! This neck massager is the perfect size and gets all the knots in my neck and shoulders. I didn't think it would work on my low back because of the curve it has to fit around the neck, but it also works really well on my low back. I wasn't sure I would like the reversing direction of the massager balls, but it actually gives a better massage that way. I couldn't be happier!
Not only is the product great, but the company has followed up with very helpful information. I have gotten three emails from them - one warning of complaints of poor packaging and boxes appearing as though they had been opened, and Zyllion urged me to contact them immediately if that occurred and they would take care of it; a second email informing me that the electric cord connector was designed to snap together firmly. They had complaints of it coming apart and wanted to ensure I had it connected properly so it would be secure. I thought I had connected it right, but when I pushed harder on the connection it did snap together very firmly, so I hadn't gotten it right the first time. There's no way it will pull apart easily now; the third email was a notice about the warranty and information on how to contact them with any problems. Needless to say, I have been very impressed with the product AND the company's strong interest in having satisfied customers. It really appears that they stand behind their products.

I have severe neck pain from using the computer and various mobile devices. I ordered this particular messager because of the great reviews. I have used this daily for 5-10 minutes while watching TV and so far and the neck stiffness and pain is reduced by 50%. I used it with the heat setting but it doesn't get hot just mildly warm which is fine because the heat normally makes my neck worse. This my own review and I was NOT paid for it. I hate the paid for reviews, I think it takes away the credibility of the product. I would recommend it, it's been much cheaper than my chiropractor and I have had more relief from this than my visits ever provided me.

I initially gave this product 5 stars for it's effectiveness however after after a year of intermittent use it stopped working. Though a good product it is not built to last. Warranty expired as it was only 1 year. If you decide to buy it make sure you buy extended warranty. I am buying a hueplus 200 and will report my finding after use.

My son bought a Zyllion that I tried out and really liked. I inadvertently bought the square Zyllion for $49.99 thinking that I was saving $10. It was so nice in my office chair that I just couldn't send it back. But I had already spent $49.95 and from the product description, the LiBa Shiatsu neck and back massager was the same for $20 less the $59.99 price of the Zyllion neck massager. So, I purchased the Liba instead. Side by side, the units LOOK exactly the same. But the Liba action was not the same at all. It hurt so much that I sent it back and purchased the Zillion. Note: I purchased the LiBa during the Christmas season - the Zillion was $59.99 and the Liba was $39.99. By the time I returned the LiBa and purchased the Zillion, the Zyllion was the $49.99 that it is now.

The Zyllion has 4 balls on each side (Liba has a total of 4 balls - 2 on each side) - a large pair and a smaller pair. It gives a great massage without "beating you up" like the LiBa. As the 2 smaller meet your neck, your neck doesn't go as deep between the 2 big balls - so when the big balls come around you are getting the bigger diameter of the big balls for a good massage, but not the extra depth which causes the "beating you up" feeling. The smaller balls also give a more gentle action in between the big balls action. Not easy to describe, but I hope you get some sort of ideas of what I mean. So yes its worth the extra money.

I am on Disability for many bad back issues, including degenerative discs, herniated, bulging discs, spinal stenosis and arthritis, spinal bone spurs, pinched nerves, and frequent sciatica and muscle spasms. I cannot stand or walk for more than a very few minutes before the pain becomes unbearable. I am sure this will help me during spells when I can barely get up or walk AT ALL, when my back is really, really "out." It really is powerful for the price, and even has straps. I love the heat feature, but you can use it without heat, too. I am thrilled with it! I have a heating pad, pain rubs, ice bag, memory foam lumbar pillow, and even have a walker on standby if it gets to that, but I think this massager will be my best defense against the pain, and will help me especially with muscle spasms and loosening up the tightness. I am grateful for this product and the 1 year warranty, and that the makers are so extraordinarily nice! They sent me a very nice email and I think if something goes wrong with it, they will be honest and ethical & go above and beyond to rectify the problem. Don't be hesitant about buying this! It is worth it, and you deserve it! You will love it! If not, return it! But trust me, even for just a massage at the end of your long hard work day, you will be relieved and soothed to have these 4 powerful massaging balls working your tired muscles and relaxing you. Upper back, lower back, calves, thighs, neck, etc. I got it for my lower back, am sure glad to have it! :-)
