Perfect size, first one showed up different color and much smaller. Cs was excellent & replaced it quickly with this exact model shown. Fits secure on the cage and no more food tossed all over the cage, even stopped rabbit from chewing on his bowl

My bunny has not been able to tip this water bowl over yet! Let's hope it stays that way- he's pretty crafty. But it holds plenty of water and hooks to his cage securely.
Ferret proof... almost

These are a must have for any critters that get a little rowdy in the cage. I bought three for my ferret (kibble, water, raw food). They are pretty easy to install. The best part is that there is a little sliding piece that moves over the cup part to prevent it from being pushed out. So, when slide to the locked position, a ferret can squeeze under without up-ending the entire bowl. They are very chew resistant as well. They scratch up but haven't come close to chipping or breaking yet. They are easy to clean. Though I do prefer stainless steel dishes for sanitary reasons, I really like these dishes. The price was right and they have the very important locking feature I needed for a smart animal. My one complain is that my little carpet shark figured out how to slide the lock back if I don't push it far enough. That's not really a fault of the product though.
Over all, these are problem-free and perfect for my uses. Smarter pets will probably get around the lock but that's why we love them.

Great for my ferrets! Easy to remove, fill up and put back. With the locking mechanism, ferrets aren't able to push it around the cage.

I have been using these dishes for quite a while now and got this one to replace the previous one I had because it broke. I ordered a size too big (for my ferrets) but that is my own fault. See picture for size comparison next to a pen, it is quite large. What is NOT my fault is the fact that the product arrived with only the bowl portion, not the other 4 other pieces that it needs to actually work. (Image shows all that has arrived, minus the pen) I would just use it with the piece I already have but that is the part that broke and was WHY I was replacing it. The dish also came with absolutely no packaging at all, no label or tag like in the picture (likely because that part was attached to the locking arm etc which did not come) IF the dish and other portions arrive to you as they are intended to, this is a great product but I am not the first person to make this complaint so you are running a risk of getting only half (or less) of a product. If you want to risk returns/replacements etc, go for it as the dish itself is great. Contacting for a refund/repurchase, will update if/when the new item arrives.
