I have a brass lamp that is over 40 years old and when I went to replace it (which I was doing only because the current shade was kind of beat) I realized I still like the lamp and all I needed was a shade. So I shopped at several stores and found nothing I liked. Then I saw this lamp shade on line and after reading the reviews decided to try it. Well I was not disappointed. The shade arrived in perfect condition, fit exactly as it should (after measuring for it as explained by the company) and was of high quality. I'm using a "soft"100 watt led and it's a really pretty diffused light through the shade but plenty bright enough to read by. I would definitely order another product through this company again.
