I have been using the Back Buddy for years and it really helps. Basically, you hold the knob of the Back Buddy against a sore muscle in your back for about 20 seconds and then stretch in the opposite direction. I originally bought the smaller version and w as pleased with how great it is to target leg and back muscles. I soon found that I am to larger to reach some hard to reach back muscles. So I ordered this larger version. No worries though, My wife had some muscle issues and I suggested she try the "ladies" back buddy. When the new larger back buddy arrived, she informed me was hers. She has mentioned a number of times how glad she is to have her own.

I'm on the computer for hours at a time and my shoulders start to ache, specifically in the shoulder blades area. I do a lot of shoulder stretches to help with the pain but this funky looking thing is the BEST! The trigger points are perfectly sized to get into those really deep tissues to work out the kinks. I highly recommend this and have gotten these as gifts as well.
