Perfect for pineappling curls at night

I use these clips every night to "pineapple" my natural curls gently on top of my head. It keeps my hair in place all night without any slippage whatsoever and since it's flat against the very top of my head I don't feel it at all when I constantly switch sleeping positions. I cannot recommend this clip enough for fellow curly girls and their pineappling needs, it keeps my hair from getting that annoying bend I would get whenever I'd use bobby pins to make a loose bun at night and when you snap the wing parts back against the clip then there's no chance of snagging stray blankets or pillows in the middle of the night. A fantastic find!

It's extremely well made and sturdy. It holds quite a bit of hair. I have it all over the house. I am ordering more because I keep misplacing it. Most of these clips are very flimsy and break easily. These are very well made.

Much smaller than expected. Really for ponytail or something that width. I imagine the pop up squeeze clips for opening will be a breakable part. I'm using them because it cost more to return them. I really expected they were 3 times the size.

I'll start with the positives for this item: it's discreet and easily well hidden in your hair, you can close the clasps to decrease the size of the clips, and they are very durable. However, I won't be purchasing this item again because every time I use the clip and close the clasps - without fail - my hair will get stuck in the metal spring piece and rip a couple strands out. This happens whether I remove it when the clasps are opened first before removing, or if I never closed the clasps to begin with and pull it out.
Great idea being able to fold the clasps down, but if only there was a way to avoid this issue...
