I bought 2, one for me and 1 for my daughter. I read the reviews after I ordered and was concerned that it was sub-par. So I conducted my own heat test. I put in water at 202 degrees and checked it every hour and I'm happy to say that 6 hrs later the water was as hot as I would need it to be for coffee. Satisfied customer!
