Easy to create 45 degree cuts thanks to very sharp blade

We were building 22-inch high privacy partition around workbench with 3/8-inch thick foam core boards. We needed 90 degree bevel for the corner without completely cutting through the foam core board so that we can bend the board at 90 degree. We adjusted the depth in the cutter to leave outside paper of the board. First cut at 45 degree then rotate the cutter to cut to create 90 degree bevel. It worked great. The cutter blade is very sharp.

Great product for the price. If you know what you are doing, it cuts near perfect mats. have sturdy pressure on the guide for clean straight cuts and cut slightly longer to get clean edges. I had drawn the cut lines on the front side of the mat in order to cut them with an xacto knife before buying this product. I was too lazy to draw them again on the back side. So i just used this product on the front side of the mat and it still worked great. no press marks or anything.
