Awesome Range Bag

This bag is much nicer in person than I thought. WOW...storage is great, but bag is not too big. I replaced an XL MIdwayUSA range bag with this one since the Midway bag was too large and bulky. This is wide, but not too long. The zippers are fantastic and seem like they will last. Since I live in NJ, I need to travel with gun LOCKED while in the trunk. This was my problem with Midway bag. I could not lock the zippers. The zippers on this bag come together on each section and allow you to fasten a small lock to them. I bought a keyed alike 4 pack of master locks that just fit into the holes perfectly. I am able to fit a Beretta 9mm, Bersa 380, Ruger 22, two "headphone" style ear protection, two shooting glasses, box of ammo, cleaning kit, paperwork and I still have a lot of room. Can easily fit much more ammo or other accessories. It comes with 2 pistol rugs that velcro into the sides...and the pistol rugs are zippered!! How great. It also has two dividers that attach in the middle with Velcro. I thought I would not use them, but I am using one to divide the shooting glasses from the ear protection. I honestly can't think of anything else that this bag is not doing well.. Well worth it..
Ideal Range Bag

The main reason I purchased the Explorer Tactical Range Ready Bag was due to my previous bag was not adequately fitting the bill. Living in California while transporting handguns it is required that they be inside a lockable container and unloaded. This required me to carry my pistols in a separate pistol bag. The explorer range bag has lockable zippers, and provides enough room for all of my range gear, ammo, cleaning gear in addition to padded storage for my pistols with room to spare. All of this at a great price, and totally compliant with local and state laws. The only con I have concerning this range bag, is the shoulder strap is not removable, not a major problem, it's just that I prefer to the option of removal. I would recommend the purchase of this bag to anyone in need of a serious and roomy range bag.
We love it. I took it to the range yesterday ...

We needed a dedicated range bag mainly because I got tired of emptying out my go bag every time we went to the range. We love it. I took it to the range yesterday with a 40 cal with it's magazines on one side and a 9mm with it's mags on the other. ( the velcro on the bottom of the gun pouches is a really nice touch btw. keeps them from sliding around.) On the ends I stashed our hearing protectors, Inside the main compartment I had 300 rounds of ammo. I prob could have tripled that because there was tons of room left. This bag has just tons of room. I was a little hesitant in ordering it because it seemed a bit pricey, but now that I have it and have used it, I would def order it again and recommend it to anyone... Well anyone except my ex but that's a different story.
Two pictures. The first shows that even with 400 rounds in the center there is PLENTY of room left over. The second shows the velcro on the bottom of the gun pouch and how it secures it to the bag.( on the left you will see two spent casings, left those so you could see how it attaches.) Again, nice touch there.

I grew to love it

I'm a new shooter/ gun enthusiast and this is my first range bag. Before this, I just had the free duffel bag given with NRA membership. That is very basic and no frills and I wanted to get something better, hence, this purchase. When this bag first came I considered sending it back. I didn't know what I would do with the dividers and pouches etc. I gave it a chance and now I really love the bag. It's of good sturdy construction. I take two pistols to the range and I put one in each included pouch. It's super convenient since I place my bag on a table in the back of the range and walk my pistols to the range in the pouches. There is ample room and compartments for my ear protection, glasses and ammo and whatever else I want to carry. There is also a side compartment for holding magazine cartridges. I carry 3/ 9mm and 3/ 45cal mags with me and have plenty of room for more. I haven't used the dividers and am not sure if I will, but it's a great option to have. At $50.00 it's also a great deal and a bag I plan on having for many years.
Falling apart on first use.

Very nice looking bag but not durable. One of the zipper pulls broke the first time I used it. I have included a picture of it. Also the zipper of the main compartment comes apart also pictured. It is a shame it is so poorly constructed because I really liked this bag. But aesthetics are unimportant when it just falls apart after the first use and this is before I go to the range. I am unable to recommend this product.
