Top quality, wouldn't expect anything else from Eberlestock. My only disappointment is I can't find the rifle scabbard available anywhere. I'll get one eventually. Hopefully before deer season.

great lots of function need some instructions

I've had/used this pack for over a year now. Like others have said, it's extremely small. Mine came with a Source 3 liter bladder, which is the best bladder on the market. With the full three liters, you have to be very selective on what you pack, as there isn't much room. If you've got the money for this pack, you'll also likely need to spend money on higher-end gear that is more compact.

I've modded mine as well. I cut out the game net and the waist belt straps, as I didn't use them enough and wanted the extra storage space. There's another work-around for more space, which is using a smaller bladder, or only filling it halfway.

Here's what/how I carry in mine: Shoved in the open top pocket a set of folding aluminum shooting sticks, 6" fixed blade, head lamp, two bandannas. Main compartment has the full 3 liter bladder, ultralight silnylon poncho/tarp, small GPS, spare magazine, range finder, couple protein bars. The larger zippered outside compartment has a compass, lighter, fire tinder in a snuff can, small pump spray bottle of bug spray. The smaller zippered outside compartment has a rechargeable battery pack for my phone/GPS, charging cable, and earphones. The former right waist belt pocket has individually packaged meds. The former left waist belt pocket has iodine water tabs and wetfire packets. The former game net pocket has head lamp batteries, sharpening stone, multitool, and gorilla tape wrapped around an old credit card. There's a paracord donut attached to the side of the pack w a small carabiner. In the scabbard slot I put a folded topo map of the area I'm in. If I need to stow a jacket it gets strapped to the outside of the pack with the compression strap.

The pack is stuffed tight, which makes it very quiet. No frills or extras, and you have to make sure only the essentials go in, but it's very workable. While bigger packs are nice, people tend to just jam more crap in them simply because they can.

I know the Eberlestock products, are all hight quality. I use every day the H1 Mini Me, is perfect to carry medium/little objects. I used it with the maximum load the H1 remains stable on the back. the only thing I liked the least is the abdominal belt that I would have preferred wider and with some molle attachment system on the sides.

I like this light weight hydration pack. The capability to add a riflw is great for short hunts. The hydration system is top notch.
