I like this way more than I thought I would. I bought it as a substitute for a fountain I really wanted but was unable to find. Then I rediscovered my heart's desire and ordered it, too. Turns out I like this one better. It is LOUD for a recirculating fountain. Too loud to use indoors, but perfect for the patio. It adds an element of life--motion and sound--that I really like.
Setup was easy, which is good, because the instructions are...lame.
If you are a large person, find someone with thin arms to help you. When you reach into the column to find the cords and put the pump in place, there's not much room.

I'm not sure how $200 is justified here. It's plastic molding with a $25 pump and some small light bulbs. That being said its everything as advertised. Easy to set up. Looks and sounds nice. It's about 20% smaller than I expected, but that's my own fault for overestimsting the dimentions in my head. I havent had it long enough to review product longevity. If it was $75-$100 I would give it 5 stars so far.

I wanted a small fountain for our 8x12 deck in our new condo. It fits perfectly in an inner corner and surround by container plants makes this a truly lovely addition. I couldn't find how much water to add, so I used 2 gallons of distilled water, since the water in this area is very hard, and I didn't want the pump filling with calcium deposits. I am so happy with it. Well worth the money, and a lovely design. The sound helps to give a focus besides traffic nearby.

It's very attractive but pump is too powerful even at lowest setting. The fountain constantly loses water and makes a mess on the front porch due to the excess splashing. I have ordered a flow restrictor and am hoping that will solve the issue. Otherwise the fountain will not be a practical piece of decor since I can't leave it running. Update: Flow restrictor does NOT alleviate leaking. I am not happy with this purchase; pretty when it's on but you cannot leave it running due to water loss.
