The tape is exactly what a left-handed tape should be. Belt hook on the proper side and numbers right -side-up. Sadly, I have been using a righty tape for far too long to adapt. I used the new tape religiously for a week and then switched back to my old tape. Old dog, new tricks. A good product over all.

Looks and feels Super Cheap!! Arrived all Scratched and It appears to be metal but its definitely made out of PLASTIC!! SUPER BUMMER

It looked a little cheap. The writing was scratched off a bit. It looked like it had been used before.

It will probably be fine, just seemed a little flimsy.
Recipient seemed pleased with the gift, tho.

I was so excited to find a left-handed measuring tape. I have gotten used to doing many things right-handed, but using a measuring tape right handed was something I just could not master, although I have gotten pretty good at reading numbers upside down. This measuring tape solves that problem, and it even has the belt clip on the correct side for a lefty. It works fine and I look forward to using it. The problem, however, is that the quality is somewhat questionable. The image on Amazon would lead you to believe that it is a metal chrome case, but it's plastic. It looks expensive, but feels cheap and it is kind of a letdown. The best way I can describe its quality is that of a novelty item, and not a serious tool to be used for many years. This is unfortunate, because as a lefty I expect products that are geared towards leftys to be similar quality to a "regular" product. Having said that, I think that had I paid $10 or $15, I would think of it as decently valued, but as it stands I think almost $30 (including shipping) is really very overpriced for this product. I hope that it holds up, but my expectations are not high.
