Good little tape- but it won't go 5'...

It's a handy little tape. Having numbers on both sides is cool, but you can't extend this out to 5' - it will give out every time. The tape is 5/8" wide and you can extend it 3' easy enough, 4' is pushing it. This is where is usually give out and falls to the floor. The magnets on the end are handy once in a blue moon, but when you want it, there it is. Also- the end of the tape has an end that goes above and below the tape (then end with the magnets). The top side is too high, and catches things when you don't want it to. It needs to be shorter.

my item had scratches on yellow metal measuring tape, one of small magnets was cracked and fallen out over time (during 2 weeks).
But still it's a good product, I don't want to return it.
If you use it then it will become scratched anyway.
