Quick Germination

I planted these in peat pots in full sun outside (zone 7b-8a). I did this instead of direct sowing because the beds I want to plant them in are not ready yet. I have 24 sprouts within 4 days of planting. I am excited to see these climb my fence and hopefully attract hummingbirds. I will update my review once I transplant into the beds. Very pleased with germination rate.
I love this!

These are beautiful but they do seem to grow very slow. I love the way the vine looks growing on my trellis.
Great for attracting hummingbirds

Grows easily. We had a little trouble with this year's seeds, but it was likely due to the excessive heat in the area. Now that the rain has been coming through, we have a large number of vines coming up and expect that they will bloom soon. Hummingbirds love these flowers and spend a lot of time around the deck once bloomed.
Imagine my surprise when they sprouted and very nicely! They are growing fast

I planted these seeds directly onto the outside flowerbed and then gardeners came and spread a lot of new soil on top... I was sure there's no way for them to sprout so I didn't water them and and didn't care at all. Imagine my surprise when they sprouted and very nicely! They are growing fast, healthy and pretty. Excited!
Beautiful, full climbing vine running over the fence

It takes a couple years for these to grow in to their full beauty and they are astounding in full bloom. Beautiful, full climbing vine running over the fence. So pretty and bloom all season. Die off in winter then come right back thicker and prettier the next spring.
