Great Fit - With A Little Work.

I received this the other day, but I didn't set it up until last night. It was absolutely impossible to get my Smith & Wesson 100 handcuffs into the holder as it was extremely tight. But that wasn't necessarily a bad thing, and here's why: What I ended up doing was placing my magazine (Sig P229 Elite) into it's place and adjusting the tension screw until I was comfortable with it's fit. Then, I jammed - and I mean with a lot of force - my handcuffs into the holder. Once they were secure, I used a hair dryer (on Hot, Low) to go back and forth over the handcuff section for about 4 minutes. Once I was able to easily tug the handcuffs out, I stopped the hairdryer and let the case cool completely.
Now, the fit is absolutely perfect. I am able to remove them quite easily but they also are firmly in place. The fit on my belt is secure as well. I would definitely recommend this case, but just be aware, that you may have a little fine tuning to do.

You say it will fit but it didn’t

I was looking for something that would hold a glock magazine for a 45 caliber mag. The description said it would. When I got it I had to put the retention screw app the way out and force it in. It was too tight on the mag to get it out and now the handcuffs easily would fall out. I ended up using with a different gun set up. If it wasn't for this, I would have returned it.
17/19 magazine

Fits both Glock 17 and Glock 19 magazines. The 19 magazine does not ride as high but you still have enough space to grip and draw the mag for a reload.
You're better than Fobus

This is a quality product, which I literally wear every workday. The outside shell is leather, and the paddle is Safariland nylon. I see so many otherwise well-dressed detectives and supervisors wearing black plastic Fobus mag and cuff cases, and I wonder: why? Hint: You're better than Fobus. Yes, you are.
I have found that this fits my S&W Model 100s well, as well as Peerless' version. I've not tried my Hyatts in it, and I doubt that Model 1's would work. Unknown about the ASP cuffs.
If you carry an auto pistol, you need to carry a spare magazine to fix your gun when the single most likely cause of failure (the feeding system) fails. If you're a cop, you need to carry cuffs. Otherwise, you're a clerk with a badge.
This is good kit, and I'm curious if Safariland ever made a double mag version.

Very satisfied with the product

I used this to carry double stack Glock magazines. It is very stiff when you first receive it. I completely soaked it in water and let a mag and a set of handcuffs sit in it for a few days. It stretched out and fits perfectly now. With an allen tool you can adjust the retention to your liking. Very comfortable to wear. Slides right on to any belt and has a notch to keep it in place when pulling handcuffs or your mag. I've used this for work on a few occasions and was very satisfied.
