These are the to-go packets of your favorite Himalayan pink salt. My husband has an iodine allergy, so he keeps these in the car for dining out. (Table salt has iodine which we try and avoid for him). I like the portability, but I wish there were a little more salt in each of the packets. Also 50 packets is kind of a small quantity for what you pay. Those are the two downsides, I'll be buying more when we run out.

Although it may seem to some like a complete waste, I bought this 2-pound bag of Himilayan pink salt to use to make salt scrubs, but I've also used it as a finish salt to certain dishes. It makes a pretty presentation and wonderful taste when sprinkled on top of a piece of unsalted butter to be served with bread. (If you haven't tried salt on unsalted butter, you will be a convert.) The high mineral content -- hence, the pink -- gives it a unique but not overbearing taste.
For salt scrubs, the fine grind is perfect. When I first tried experimenting with scrubs, I erroneously thought I would need a coarser grain, but that size doesn't exfoliate as well. This is what you want -- and it creates an attractive scrub, particularly when stored in a clear glass jar.

I luv this salt. It's all natural & does not contain any of the poisons that r added too the regular table salt that u buy at ur local grocery store. (That causes inflammation by the way.) This salt is actually good for u. It contains at least 87 minerals ur body needs on a daily basis. I mix it with bottled water and drink it everyday. It's also cheaper on Amazon than buying from their website. I highly recommend it.

This Himmie salt is delicious! It has a nice pink color and dissolves readily well in foods due to being finely ground. The pink color is gentle and does not stain foods. I find this salt makes your food extra delicious in addition to being full of needed minerals. The pouch is re-closable but it is even better if you put this in a jar as the pouch can fall and you might lose some precious salt.

I really like this product. Call me crazy, but I can taste the difference between this product and normal salt. Yes, it is salty, but it has a rich deep flavor that is more robust and more varied than the simple salty "bite" you get from table salt. I have been especially pleased using this in soup recipes. It gives the broth a richer and deeper flavor. I have completely stopped using table salt and replaced it with this salt. I supplement with iodine as this is not an iodized salt.
