Bleeding my brakes solo by via gravity, just wasn't working for me. I bought this to make my life a little easier. Upon opening, I realized it requires an air compresser. (Fyi you can get a small cheapie @ Wmart for $50)
I bled my brakes, but the gravity fluid feeder did not fit my master cylinder (2007 Milan Premier) correctly. It was keeping the fluid level too low.
The bleeder is like a Vac, it sucks out the fluid coming out the bleeder screws while the brake is being pumped. The tube is clear, so you judge how much air vs fluid is coming out of the brake bleeders.
This is a great tool to have, but if you have a similar car, I'd skip the gravity feeder package. Also, when it comes time to empty out the fluid, it's VERY hard to open the plastic jar where the fluid is collected. I think you need to put it in a large vice to hold it so you can twist off the lid.
I'm not a mechanic, but took a crash course (with help of Utube) in fixing my own brakes after a couple of local mechanic blew me off.
If you have a ABS vehicle, you need to cycle the ABS module/valves to remove all of the air. Pro mechanic scanners are pricey, but there an android app called idiag. You can buy a mini android tablet on amazon (about $840) with the included software for a bunch of different vehicles. In hindsight, I could of just bought the bluetooth dongle from eh-bay and purchase the Ford software. This app was what I used to cycle the abs, instead of taking it to a shop or (CHOKE!) dealership. I'm not affiliated with this chinese (?) app. Just knowledge I learned along the way and hope this can help someone else!

I purchased this item (versus a no-name equivalent) only because it was on sale for 47% off. IMHO it is not worth the normal $300+ price to me.

Quality of the kit is fine, manufacturer needs to stamp the 60psi max air supply rating into the plastic, IMHO. Luckily I read the booklet it came with.

I used it within a day of receiving it to change the old brake fluid in my work vehicle, which went fine, and I intend to primarily use it on a motorcycle, which needs it's brake and clutch fluids changed every 2-3yrs.

Device will not work with Russell fittings (bleeders with checkvalves) though, my truck has them on the front calipers. The Mityvac could not overcome the force needed to open them.

No issues. Everything seems well made.
