This was bought for a small office, to notify us if someone entered when we were away from the front. Unfortunately this item does not work as advertised. The chime does not sound until the door has closed and the person is already standing in the room, which kind of defeats the purpose of what this is supposed to be used for. It has been returned for a refund.
Also, the wires are flimsy, and poorly put together.
