Croquet Set for Family Fun
I. Diaz•January 24, 2018
I bought these to play with our adult daughters and our grandkids. We had a set years ago when our girls were young, and we always had a great time playing together as a family. This particular set, is extremely good quality, nothing like the cheap sets they sell at most retail outlets
Very bad quality! The stick broke easy

Very bad quality! The stick broke easy! Very expensive for the quality of the product. I do not recommend this product!
Pretty Good
Blaqbutahfly•October 12, 2016
Bummed about one of the stakes breaking during the very 1st game we played.
Poorly design wickets
Lance P. Welsh•August 9, 2016
Design flaw - wickets are unreasonably narrow (just slightly wider than the ball). Makes the game unbearably tedious. Their previous "deluxe" model had round and wider wickets which made for normal fun.
Baden Champions Series Croquet Set with Soft...
Amazon_User•June 28, 2016
Eh, somewhat as described. The Mallet heads are "hardwood" but not handles (looks like poplar, or other light wood, -head looks like an Oak variety type, but lots of knots, not fine grain or grade 01 wood IMO).
I have not set up and use, but did wack a few balls... I could see where folks may have under normal use, broke a mallet head off, or split a handle. We will see if holds up -- I am gentle with my stuff too; only adults playing this, gently, correctly.
The carrying case, eh, again, all sort of falls to the middle even strapped in. Funny but in e.g. the "music" market, the hard, softshell cases cost nothing, given with guitars... not in "this" market.... wow.
I noticed I purchased just prior to the July 4th weekend 20% price increase... wow... would not have purchase at that price.
For me, is marginally worth the price --a sale, significant one would make me feel better about it. But, new to this so, there you go. Wanted it for the 4th ironically too. So, again, 3-stars is fair. Frankly it's weird to me that in the "sports" nice stuff badly made is so expensive. I buy a Guitar from China :) well made for less than this, --generally speaking as market niche comparison and what I am used to getting for my money. Esp., foreign made.
Also, came without a "complete" Rules book. Called and got a very marginal PDF. On-line is far better for that, -go there I'd adise. But, to boot not to have the "Rules/Instr" book? I never played this, --how would I know?
