With some alterations these brussel sprouts are rather tasty. And if you pay more than $ 5.00 a jar your paying too much! They can be found for 3.99 a jar in many places, at least hear in New Jersey. Empty the contents of the jar into a small 1 quart sauce pot. I add one teaspoon of dark brown sugar, a pinch of sea salt a pinch of fennel seed. Bring to boil then lower your heat and simmer covered for about 20-30 minutes. This cooks the sprouts to a more desirable texture and the addition of the spices gives it a unique flavor. Use whatever spices you like. After they have cooked leave in the pot bring to room temperature and just re-jar and refrigerate. I guarantee you will enjoy them, otherwise they are hard, raw and not so pleasant to eat. If your not willing to give these sprouts some attention With more cooking and some spice additions I would avoid purchasing.
