Saving power and lives... or just power!

I ordered this because I realized that the power usage from a standard 900W/1500W space heater just for me to have the comfort of direct heat at my desk was a bit much. With this being only 200W, I can say that I am impressed with the amount of heat it puts off for a "personal" heater, but don't expect it to heat any type of room. FYI, it just has an on/off button, no thermostat, no tip-over protection. But none the less, I am very happy with the purchase.

We bought this little heater for our 5th wheel camper, to help heat the water tank area underneath. But it surprised me by being so strong, that instead we use it in our bedroom area. It really puts out a great amount of heat for its small size. Definitely a good investment. I do recommend for anyone needing to supplement a small area with great heat!

I purchased this heater to bring to work for my feet. It works really well, but it is VERY small. It is exactly like the description states it is more like direct heat for hands or feet. You will not be heating up any spaces with this item. The only complaint (and very minor) is that it is either on or off. There are no variables on heat level. I am very happy with the purchase and I am using it as intended.

I was kind of excited to get this Lasko 100. I found this to be more of a direct hand heater instead of a personal heater. The MyHeat heater would not reach me if I was sitting in a chair in the living room with it on the stand next to the chair blowing directly at me. I found that it did not reach me when I placed it on my desk. I could only feel the heat when I placed my hand directly in front off it and not more then 12 inches away from the heater. The front plate is also pointed upwards and does not blow directly straight making it miss my mouse hand completely. If I placed it near my hands I would need to lift my mouse hand to the front of the heater to warm it. It does produce heat but the fan does not force the air out very far. I went for a 400 watt instead that featured auto shut off and temperature overheat shut off.
