Pretty dissapointed. For the price, I wasn't expecting a luxury sofa . But it's not very soft, cushiony or comfortable at all. It feels hard. When sitting on it, the stuffing compresses almost instantly. Then you can feel all the bars of the futon frame underneath. Difficult to sit on long enough to watch a 2 hour movie or whatever.
The cover itself is ok. But the stuffing inside looks like recycled paper and lint. Thinking of just replacing the stuffing with several layers of foam mattress padding.
Would not recommend this futon mattress.

This mattress is much thicker than my previous one but I still wouldn't want to sleep on it every night. It's pretty hard also the fabric itself is harsh on my skin. I keep wanting to put a sheet over it.

I was so sad when the red futon I wanted was no longer in stock, so I searched for a awhile to find the perfect replacement. This one ended up being better than the first choice. It's the perfect neutral bright red, nice and soft and comfy, (unlike the hardness of a lot of other ones including my first choice) not too hard to fluff up, nice cool material and really nice on my DHP Aiden Futon frame I also purchased to go with it. We all love to lay on it and watch movies. It leans back nice and tall for our heads to rest against. It's perfect for my contemporary black red and white living room with some black and white throw pillows.

This mattress was great when it arrived, however after sleeping on it about once a week for about a year you can see two indents from where each person sleeps. Ever turning it over, folding it back into couch form or moving it around doesn't seem to fluff the interior filling up again. For the price it's a good futon mattress, however it's definitely not going to stand up to daily use.
