Great!

Great product at a great price! Very easy to install and makes towing a breeze. I tow an 8ooolbs travel trailer and this unit makes it feel light as a feather. The sway control worked great too, even while going over the Tacoma Narrows Bridge (former Galloping Gertie) I had no sway. I am extremely happy with this weight distributing hitch kit! And you won't find it anywhere cheaper.

This is a very well made, solid hitch. The insert body tube is solid steel! Had zero problems mounting and hooking up - except the trailer tongue had a junction box right where the driver's side bar base needed to go. This wasn't the hitch company's fault - it was the trailer manufacturer's - seems like it should have been obvious a load-leveling hitch would need to have a part that would go in that spot. However, I simply moved the junction box 2 inches to the rear, and all was well. You do need to follow the lubricating directions carefully though. I was kind if scotch on the amount of grease on the sway bar balls and in the leveling bar cavities, and after the first day's travel in wet conditions, it really squeaked and groaned the next morning when I started out. Added a little more grease, and it was fine. Of course, when you remove the hitch, you have to be careful to not get grease all over you and anything the components touch!

This product is a MUST if you're towing a travel trailer or large boat. I have a 20' travel trailer with a slide-out and I pull it with a small truck (4Runner). The weight distribution and sway control bar have been essential when taking ANY trips on the highway. Do keep in mind, to install the sway control (not the weight distribution), you will need to drill/alter your trailer. The issue I had with that is that drilling into a trailer is no easy task. I am an avid do-it-yourselfer, however, I think the average person might have to get this installed by a shop.
