Great for the price but showed up on my door step in rough shape. Seller walked me through how to set it up correctly and its all good now. Brought my PH from a 6.2 to a 6.7. I have a family of 4 that uses a ton of water. I am sure smaller house holds will have much higher PH increases. Should help my plumbing last longer.

Unit arrived barely still in what was left of the box. Unit. Very heavy and could have been packaged better. Took one star for package it or would have given 5 stars tank is well made and came with everything needed. Suggest marking the tank before adding the calcite so you can tell when it is getting close to needing to be refilled

Filter is working great. During delivery the outflow was damaged, I contacted AFW filters, they responded within the hour and had our replacement on the way. We received it within four days. I had a shipping issue where the shipper had dropped the cylinder multiple times and crack the fiberglass. I would recommend shipping the tank without the calcite in it to reduce the weight. Oceanic Water Systems sent a new tank to replace it with instruction on how to change the diffuser and how to move the gravel and calcite to the new tank. It was easy.
The tank was very easy to install. My pH was 5.0-6.0 and now it is 7.0-7.1. Works very well so far. Would recommend putting a inline filter before the cylinder to keep sediment from going into the tank. The system does not backwash so a filter would stop sediment from building up in the bottom of the cylinder.
I give Oceanic Water Systems an excellent rating. Their customer service was excellent.
