The "Mode" switch failed after 1 1/2 months (1/2 month after Amazon's last return date). Don't know if Optimus would honor their warranty (shipping and handling charges would cost almost much as a new unit). The unit still works as on-or-off but no thermostat control or maximum hour setting because the "Mode" switch does not respond. It is an attractive quite unit, they just need higher quality components.

Smells like burning plastic. Stated that it is a safe product and while moving it around there were pieces broken off inside that rattles. DO NOT buy this

Its only been cold enough to use this the past few weeks and the thermostat on this item doesn't work. I set it to 72* and the room is 67* and it never gets to 72*, even after 4 hours! I can't find how to return this item and get my money back. I had a little heater like this (different brand) for the past 12 years that worked great. Can this seller please help me return this? Thank you. Dawn

Yes, arrived shortly after order, well packaged. BUT parts of the display "went south" soon after a few uses.
Can't tell the temp or time, but it does kinda-sorta keep the room warm.
Would NOT buy another one!
