Make sure you install this in a deep box with plenty of room. Other then that it works great !!
Large and easy to use

Large and easy to use. The unit won't fit in most of the common boxes used for light switches because its too deep and the screws don't align with the holes. You need a very deep box and some flexibility in the mounting screws. You can mount the screws in some metal boxes through the two holes that are normally used to screw the box into the wall. Just be sure to bring this switch with you to the hardware store to test it out in any wall box you buy. Its better If you have a metal panel that you can cut a hole in and drill two holes for the screws.
Great.

Wonderful addition to my small saw (79 craftsman with a 2ho motor). Feel much safer with a large paddel that I can hit with my leg, than a tiny switch on the lower front corner (as the saw was designed.).

Actually thinking about buying a few more and placing them in other places. Like in the garage to control our entry lights. Getting out of the car, and going inside with 18 bags of groceries in my hands... would be much easier if I could just smack this thing to kill the lights.
easy enough to use

I bought this switch when I rewired the motor on my 80s Craftsman table saw. It has a positive on and off, easy enough to use. I am not an electrician and had never wired a switch like this before. The instructions and diagram were simple enough that I got it right the first time, so this is something a novice can do. The only challenges I had were minor and were with other components--I had to file the ring terminals I bought to get them to fit, and I had to replace the mounting screws with longer ones. It is a big switch, so I put it in a 2 gang (4"x4") box fitted with a single mud plate. Everything works great--it is now easier and safer to use my saw.
Used this on a 220v 3hp shop fox cabinet saw

This switch is awesome. The magnetic switch on the shop fox cabinet saw broke, well that is a $100 replacement, no thank you... I prefer this style switch. I just hooked it up & it is heavy duty. I like the large paddle.
I mounted it using the metal boxes found in the electrical aisle. I used a 4x4 deep box attached to the saw. I mounted a single gang mud ring to the switch first. After it was wired up I attached it to the 4" x 4" box. Maybe not the most ideal way but works good & looks fantastic.
I'd like to purchase another switch to use on possibly the 113. craftsman table saw I also use. Great switch i'd recommend to anybody. Price is right.
