Our new home has a covered front porch. An outdoor 3-way light switch is located near the front door, which turns on/off the porch and exterior garage lights. (A second switch inside the house performs the same function.) I replaced the outdoor switch with this 3-way Maestro Sensor switch. (Remember it's under a covered patio, so it doesn't get wet there.) In this location it turns on the exterior house lights whenever anyone approaches the house (it's set to turn on/off both during the day and night). That includes anyone making a delivery (or a porch pirate), arriving guests, or even those walking on the sidewalk in front of the house. It's a great automatic feature for our house.
Some Assembly Required

I am somewhat OCD about motion sensor switches, and have them all over my house. I decided I wanted to install one in the hallway between our living room and bedroom. This turned out to be much more difficult than expected, because there is a separate switch on the same circuit to control an overhead fan in the living room. I could not find any combination of wiring that separated the two 3-way switches from the fan switch.

Eventually, I solved the problem by putting the motion sensor switch at the other end of the hall, where it didn't have to interact with the extension of the circuit to the fan switch. I wired a toggle switch next to the fan switch confirming that they were separated, then started experimenting with wiring the sensor switch until I found a combination that worked. Neither end is wired as described in the instruction manual, but it works.

NOTE: It's very easy to overlook in the instructions that there TWO ground wires, one at the back with the traditional green insulation, and a bare wire. Both needed to be connected to a ground circuit. This is an area where colored, rather than B&W instructions would have been very helpful.

Installation on a simple 3-way circuit with no extensions is likely more straightforward, but if you aren't an electrician or you don't like solving logic puzzles, hire an electrician. All told, this project took me about 6 hours, most spent in experimentation, to complete successfully.
I am buying 6 more for the rest of my house.

This is Great. Love it, Put this in the bath room. Now my house is like a smart home. Better than using Alexa, having to Speak "light on". Now the room just knows you are there and comes on. Plus will go off when you leave. Fully configurable. I am buying 6 more for all other locations that will work for me. All 3 bath rooms for the lights and also will install for the bathroom fans. but for the fans, I will configure the light to let me turn on, but go off after 5 or 15 minutes. Cool gadget.
Second Purchase Love These

This is the second motion sensor (same model) I've purchased. Used the first one in downstairs mudroom for over 2 years now. Was easy to install. Originally wanted to place on upstairs switch, but that switch was not grounded. The second purchase was for garage. Now when backing into the garage I have some assurances no one else in there. Needed to call customer service because I goofed on the install and they answered quickly and was very knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend.
Works Great

Works great. I couldn't get it to work at first, but then I realized my circuit wasn't properly grounded in the other 3 way switch box. Works great with a Philips dimmable LED bulb. I have it installed outside under my porch ceiling where it stays dry and works perfectly as a motion sensor for anyone stepping up to my porch. It has good range, and the preset setting adjustments are programmed to work well for this use. I do wish the settings could be adjusted with screw knobs that give you complete control over sensitivity and the timing settings (like my old, non-LED compatible switch had), but like I said the limited preset adjustment modes work fine.
