Yellows NOT opaque

I like the variety, the brushes are slim but need to be trimmed at the ends. Lots of colors are not opaque as you would need for decorating. I bought this because I'm moving to a very rural area and wanted to be able to decorate my toes myself. Still can but pallete is limited to white, black, a hot pink and sky blue. White and black are handy but I really wish the yellows were better. I tried most colors out on my toes, some were immediately removed due to the sheerness, most yellows and pinks, all the glitters. i prefer a bright base color with other bright colors accentuated. But may have to opt for a pastel and some stickers. Kind of disappointing. But still, there is room for experimentation. They were however, packaged quite well as you can see in the photo. None were broken or open. Box, within a box, within a box!
Beautiful, Easy to Use Colors

I love this set. The colors are beautiful and the little brushes are great for fine lines. I wish my left hand were a little steadier so I could do designs on my right hand that look as good as those on the left. Then I could get really creative. I was sorry to note that something was wrong with one of the paints when I received it. It seemed to have dried up a bit and was too thick, and the bottle was only about 2/3 full. I wanted to return the little one for a replacement, but instead the company just returned my money and let me keep the rest. I felt a little guilty, since the rest of the set is very nice. Anyhow, the colors are great and customer service was superb.

I've read other reviews about bottles not sealing, different textures, taking several coats, duplicate colors, etc. I can honestly say I did not experience any of those issues. I would recommend the product to anyone, and will purchase again. I had a perfect variety of colors, and if anything have had trouble removing after one coat of color. The company clearly states if anyone experiences anything less than a 5 star experience, to let them know. So at least you know they back their products. I was also surprised to see a nice holder for them, I expected to see a box full of loose, individual bottles like everyone else sends.

Shany is the woMan! My Nana got this for me for Christmas and they are FABULOUS! In comparison to Kleancolor, they are a bit thicker which means you use less. That's not to say that kleancolor isn't a good brand, because it is, it's just that Shany is the better of the two. The colors are really beautiful and the brush is super thin. I have issues with my hands from neurological problems and I had no problem using these. I also have the 24 piece polish set that matches this striping set perfectly which is very cool to match up your accent nails to the main nails, LOVE that!
Received a Duplicate, but a Nice Enough Set for Nail Art

Arrived on time, packaged well, no leaks, all of the bottles appeared new and unopened, very nice presentation. Unfortunately, I received two identical red bottles of polish. Sort of a bummer given I purchased this set for the variety and the color I'm missing is one I really wanted. The bristles tend to be different lengths, but I read that a different user trimmed the ends to resolve this issue. Yes, some of the polish is too thin and some too thick, but nail polish thinner will resolve the too thick issue. The value for what you get is what's expected. It's cheap, but fun if you're willing to overlook or correct the flaws. I don't mind those things as it's not a huge deal for me and it's just for nail art but I would never use this polish for the entire nail.
