Patrick Matthews•July 19, 2017
I have already contacted Amazon regarding the failure of the lighting function in these to stay lit upon being placed on a surface. Only one did, and the color control didn't function. Unforutately, on first ues, one of the glasses was dropped and broken. I received the process to return them and replacements will be sent. I was already so enthusiastic about them, I had already ordered a second set for a gifl. I will wait upon its arrival before returning the faulty first set.. minus the broken one. I do have the lighting boot which I will enlose. I have previously purchased the plastic martinis and the champagnes, they work perfectly.... so I was really enthusedd to acquire the esthetic up grade of REAL GLASS. Patrick Matthews
Great Product!
Kelsey K. Todd•April 2, 2013
I ordered these glasses for a party I was having. They were great conversation pieces! And they worked great. I recommend washing them prior to use, as they've been packed in plastic/cardboard for shipping purposes. I especially like the ability to be able to pause on a color of my choice. I also like that they're reusable and washable. Good buy.
Quality for item not equal to price
J•December 2, 2011
Quality of this item is bad. Price should be much lower because of this.
Item I received has, in my option, lots of defects.
One glass had what looked like a water mark on the clear part , but was a noticeable defect in the glass itself.
Another different glass had what looked like a noticeable cut in the stem. It looks like to me, in the process of making these glasses that they have two parts. One is the lower half of the stem and the other is the drinking upper part. It looks like they fused them together with heat at the base of the stem.
Without all that being said, the one glass was not fused together completely(visible cut). And all of them have an uniform fused area at the base of the stem which is not so noticeable visual but u can feel wave like bumps.
Moving on to the 4 LEDs/glass. 2 out of the 4 glasses had one LED that did not work.
In regards to the battery door, don't plan on getting it closed back to how it was before you opening it. I opened the battery door thinking that maybe the connection was not good for the LEDs that did not work on the 2 glasses. That was a mistake. I could never get the battery door back to how it was before opening it. Very cheaply made. I would not be surprised if some might not be able to get the LED lights to work after opening it.
And yes I read the manual that came with it.
Over all, it's not worth it to ship these back and the price point for this item was to high for the quality in my option.
Conversely, I would have paid more for better quality.
Great ideal, but missed the mark on price point and quality.
