Finally, yes finally I see my suspenders have a ummm began to show wear. The elastic has worn and now is loosing it's shape. After wearing them every week day for 3 years their age is showing. I mean I'm 5'7" and weigh 340lbs. I had a hard time keeping my pants up mostly due to my weight going up and down.

I truly do love these. I wear them under my polos for work. My only regret was not finding them earlier. These things are AMAZING!

They have come unlatched but that is due to me getting the latched stuck against something like a door jam and instead of stopping to unstick them I pull on them and the latch will unbuckle. To be honest I'm surprised as I have torn leather belts, pants, nylon, and other fabrics by doing the same motion.

I;m only writing this review because I need another pair as my wife thinks the others have had their run and should be retired. However, come tomorrow until I get a new pair. I will be wearing my trusty suspenders.

BTW, one unexpected side effect was the admiration by women and my suspenders. They can't seem to keep their hands off of them. I can not mention how many times they have brought up my suspenders in conversations.

I am now going to say that these are the best suspenders I have used--overall. These suspenders work in every situation for me. I use them to hold my pants up, obviously, but if you are reading this review, you will most likely want to know what I am doing while wearing them. Foremost, the reason I bought these was for lawful concealed carry. The grabber snaps on these are very heavy duty. I also like the piercing stud that goes thru the center of the snaps. If you do not want or like pin holes in your pants, then these suspenders are not for you, as you will get holes poked into your pants. I am wearing fire hose shorts and pants from a famous manufacturer, and these suspenders work fine with them. I had previously been using suspenders that attach to and lift my belt in the center on the back on 2 sides in the front. The fire hose pants and shorts I wear have a solid and wide center belt loop in the back, so it is impossible for me to use the suspenders I mentioned. These are X back, so I can attach on either side of that wide center belt loop just fine. Now I do something that you can do at your own risk and comfort level. When I bring the straps up over my shoulders, I cross the straps to opposite sides (like an X in the front) and attach the straps to the front of my shorts/pants. This way, no matter what I'm doing, the straps never slip off my shoulders. I also wear an white undershirt for my base layer, and then put the suspender straps criss-cross over that, and then a tshirt or other shirt over that. The only downside I have found is that the straps will rub against the sides of my neck when I criss-cross them, but I'm getting used to it, and it sure beats my straps sliding off my shoulders. In cooler weather, I wear turtlenecks, and they help a lot with the rubbing. I have split firewood, mowed grass, weeded, trimmed, welded, vacuumed, bent down, bent over, lifted things, etc, etc, and these suspenders have not come loose or disconnected. The snaps have not failed, either. If I have any problems, I will report back here. They were about $28 when I bought these. Buy them.

The rear belt catch will slip off the belt loop after a few uses with no way to tighten it back up. Front length adjusters will not hold good. They will slide if put under normal use like bending over ect.

Gift for my father. This is his favorite brand because of the superior clips. Arrived promptly and was well packaged.

Overall, a quality product. They definitely do stay in place. A couple things. 1. This is not an item you want to clamp onto a belt. This is made for more tight-fitting applications by putting directly onto your pants. 2. The elastic will wear out over time. I have had mine for about 6 months now and I think that at about month 3 or 4 the elasticity really broke down. It still holds but the back "x" is not way on top of my back instead of in the middle. I wish the longevity was more. 3. I had one of the metal clips partially break down. It doesn't latch as tight as it used to, so it sometimes comes undone. As well, the wire that holds the suspender is also bent some. Generally, these are a very good quality product that I use everyday. I would recommend this product but still think some improvement could be made.
