parts fit is very good. There aren't that may parts

Certainly an impressive model that goes along well with the 1/72 scale GATO class submarine model. Bt default, this model is far less detailed than the GATO model, but that it to be expected. With the exception of the bow section to stern section fit (which will require some filler), parts fit is very good. There aren't that may parts. Molded in detail is a bit exaggerated. I don't quite agree with the suggested paint scheme. Maybe Moebius will make a follow-on model of a George Washington class SSBN - since a GW class is merely a stretched Skipjack class.
Super submarine by moebius models WOOOOOOWWWWW.

I read the reviews about this model, but having it. in person the only way to describe it is WOOOOWWWW. this is something special I already have various ideas about it and I think that I may have to get another one, God it may cost my marriage, but I will get another. this thing is huge, the way I like it I say to all modelers out there get one soon and to amazon keep the price low because you will sell a lot of them and to Moebius Models keep it coming ,I will ,and I highly recommend this model so go don't waist time and buy one..
Nice Model, but be prepared for some work.

This is an impressive model and makes a fine display piece. Fit is fair, though. The hull is assembled in four pieces. Where the top and bottom halves, both forward and aft, fit together, there is a significant bulge that requires a good bit of sanding and filling. In the model I received, there is a 1.5mm difference in diameter between the forward hull and aft hull that has required more sanding and filling. The model is molded with plenty of detail and has photo etched parts for the MSW suction and discharge grating.
Due to its size, you will need plenty of paint and filler material (glazing compound).
Decals are included for all ships of the class: this one will be a tribute to the Scorpion, lost in May 1968.
I reinforced the interior of the hull seams with epoxy for added strength and added LEDs for navigation, mast head and rudder lighting.
This will be used in parades with our local SubVets group.

Impressive.

Don't let the small box fool you . . . this thing builds into a large, impressive submarine. When I first got it out of the box, it seemed to me the plastic was a little flimsy, but upon putting it together I discovered that external pressure stress is distributed evenly over the entire rounded hull, and assembled it is very sturdy. That being said, if I were interested in building this as a radio control project, I would reinforce the hull with some sheet styrene at attachment points. This is an excellent addition to my 1/72 Gato, U-Boat, and IJN submarine.
A 'big fish'

The model drew more than a few 'wows' at our club meeting.
The model is layed out pretty good and the detial is shap.
When i build this, it will look interesting, large but interesting.
