So far it is ok, the low voltage alarm comes on too often when batteries are showing less than 12 volts and the internal cooling fan in this unit comes on. I have the remote for this and it is great. I only have two 6 volt batteries for a total of 240 amp hours so this might work better on a bigger battery bank.
It might be possible to install it using some type of shock mounts but I would recommend buying another brand designed for such

This pure sine wave inverter is not build for a camper application in that if failed during our first trip due to being vibrated as we traveled over some moderately rough roads. It might be possible to install it using some type of shock mounts but I would recommend buying another brand designed for such applications if you plan on using it in a mobile application such as a camper.

First before using this you need to have 3 Marine batteries in parralle 12Volts (NOT SERIES) and anything over 6" (1/0 AWG wire.) found here:

PEOPLE THAT COMPLAIN ABOUT ISSUES.(it's not the inverter its you. Use bigger wire to power your; Power inverters. Thats why they're failing. DC inverters require more amps then AC so the smaller the number the heftier the wire. I've been running this on my utility truck for about a year now. NO Problems at all. My truck uses it alternator to recharge the batteries. Ive been powering my Tools, I power my Milwaukee Tile saws 10inch, Dewalt 10 chop saw, charges my dewalt batteries. run my microwave 700 watt etc.
This one is by far; the best inverter Ive ever Bought. I've had many from Chicago electric to Black and Decker. found that almost all inverters work good only if used with proper wire Gage. (That's is a huge factor.) and using Marine Batteries too. I use 3 optima yellow tops. they work flawlessly.

Very nice for price but,,,,,,,,,

Works but not like more expensive units I have installed from Tripxxxxx. I only tried because of price. No Customer support. Again this unit does work if you can't afford more mission critical units. I have tried power bright units and my issue is the soft start. Won't run compressor items like an 800 watt full size fridge. The compressor protection kicks out the compressor because this power bright pauses then softy brings in full 2000 watts so it just an endless loop. Now it does get 2000 watts and is actually a pretty clean sine wave. Distortion is a little high for my taste but for the price it's great. Again if this is to power items that keep perishables or something you need to solely rely on don't buy. If your on a budget and building a cheap solar or wind system to tinker with it is fine. licensed Electrical Engineer
