Seems sturdy enough. Fit just fine on my little extra ...

I was concerned about the reviews saying the metal piece failed, and the seat fell off, but haven't had any of those problems yet, thank goodness. Seems sturdy enough. Fit just fine on my little extra small frame road bike (I'm only 5'2"). It gets a little bit in the way if you're a really small person to be able to reach the handlbars comfortably, but overall, the 17 month old loves it, and it's so fun to go on bike rides w/her.
Very easy to install

Very easy to install. I use my bicycle to commute to work and had no problem putting it on and taking it off for a few weekend rides with my son. The little steering wheel is a nice touch; my son enjoyed it.
Quality child's seat

This kids seat is the best one around, and I have tried a few of them. This is my second one, the first one I passed down to a friend who is using it on her second child. I prefer the seats that are positioned in the front, the baby loves the view. That front positioned seat also allows you to see your child, and explain to them what they are seeing. My daughter rode in this until she was 3. The installation is very simple I was able to have it all put together in less than 10 minutes.

Easy to install, great fit on my beach cruiser style bike. Harness is very easy to adjust. Hex key included so you dont need any additional tools for mounting.
I gave this a 4 rating instead of a 5 because of a minor issue with the pin. The locking part of the pin just dangles and would hit the bike frame when I turn. I had to tie it up with velcro to make sure it stayed clamped down to the metal T-bar provided.

Makes bike rides fun

My daughter loves our bike rides. She has just turned 2 and weighs 27 lbs. We were debating on whether to get a child trailer or a bike seat. I did my research and found that the trailer, although safer, was also bulkier and in the end we would be towing close to hundred pounds. The wait is just insane when living in a hilly area unless you are used to biking and me and my husband are total biking noobs. So I opted for the seat. After research, I found that this seat was not only highly rated but also considered a safer and more trutsed brand (and lots of youtube videos). It also fits easily on both of our bikes thanks to the adjustable mount. I did have to raise my steering column but only by an inch or less. We have her wearing a helmet and the safety straps do slide down her arms, but there is also that bar that snaps in front of her lap. I bought an extra mounting kit for my bike so that we wouldn't need to take the mount off every time we wanted to move her to a different bike. The only issue we had is with the bar that snaps in front of her lap. Unfortunately that bar came undone a lot and she would simply lift it up while we were riding. However, that was also easily fixed. My husband simply drilled a hole and we put a little metal clip, so that the bar would stay securely in place. And we could unclip it to let her out. I have included some images on our quick fix. I love the seat, and dont regret it for a second. I would recommend and have recommended this seat to others as well.
