Although it seemed that dry times went down a bit after we started using, we tried to forego fabric softener, but we still ended up with static and wrinkles, so we used in conjunction with Downy.
We stopped using these after about a year due to wool coming off and sticking to clothes. It was becoming too much of an effort to cleanup.

I had been reading about these and finally decided to give them a whirl - I am so glad I did! They work wonderfully well and are not nearly as noisy as the old plastic ones. I use essential oils do I put a few drops of lavender on each one and my clothes and towels smell delightful, are soft and yes, even less wrinkled. What a wonderful product. I even bought another set as a gift for my sister.

We have an older dryer and one 60 minute cycle still had our clothes pretty damp and had to run another cycle which was extremely annoying. Once I started using the dyer balls I have only had to do one cycle. so thankful and really have less wrinkles in the clothes. worth every cent

The woolzeis developed pilling, with first use. The pills attached to clothing in the dryer. They really did not perform as suggested, and I had to remove the pills from the clothes, so not what I had expected to have to do.

Love these! So far I still have all six. They don't seem to help with static as much as I had hoped, but they get rid of the dryer sheets and reduce drying time by at least 20 minutes. I wash cloth diapers at least twice a week and they really help dry them faster.
