Nice little hand crossbow
Zachariah wettingfeld•August 20, 2017
Nice little hand crossbow. Packs a good punch but unless you get some sharp tips this thing won't punch through a quarter inch thick wooden board. Stuck into the Styrofoam head pretty deep though. I'm guessing anything harder than leather armour needs a bolt with a sharper tip. Dex -1 but rolls about a D8 unless you're going coup de gras, then expect some critical damage.
This pistol crossbow is just for fun or small game

I don't know what the major complaint is about, it's a 12 dollar crossbow! I also think some of the complaints are coming from people who did not correctly string the crossbow and many others who do not know how to properly load and shoot a crossbow with a manual safety. There's much more to it than just cocking it and putting a bolt. Take it from me, I actually use a crossbow to hunt.

I couldnt believe this thing worked but it does. ...

I couldnt believe this thing worked but it does. This can shoot entirely through a watermelon. Do buy more bolts though. You will need some.
Made a great gift
That one guy•March 19, 2017
Bought it as a gift. It's definetly a big boy toy, not for little kids. As long as you are aware of what your doing, take your time and take care of it, it will work great and last. He loved this gift
He was disappointed to say the least
Jred1838•April 29, 2016
This bow was bought by a ten year old. He is well aware of safety and we had no problem with him having it. However, he loaded the arrow improperly and ended up dry firing the bow after about 3 previous successful shots. The bow broke. He was disappointed to say the least. That aside, the bow is extremely powerful and fun! Advice: don't dry fire it!
