Misleading and False Information. Doesn't Transfer to iPhone
Mitch Seibolt✓ Verified Purchase•July 27, 2012
The Mutant MIG-IP2 does not deliver as promised, and the manufacturer should be ashamed of itself for intentionally failing to state not only in the Amazon product description but on it's own website that the photo transfer feature does not work with the iPhone. This was 90% of the reason I purchased this item, and now it is 100% why I am returning it and informing other suspecting buyers of this blatant omission. Whenever possible I go the the website of the manufacturer to download the user manual to verify specifications and features shown on Amazon. This company doesn't even have that document available. It isn't until you receive the item, open the box and see the "photo transfer for iPad only" statements plastered on every other page that you realize you've been duped. I'm pretty sure the hope is that you'll keep the item for the other functionality. It does work in every other regard ( 1 star), except this significant one. The company could have stated this non-feature on their website description, as they did in the user manual, but obviously chose not to, hoping that folks would be interested enough to buy the product. This is nothing more than an expensive docking station with a remote. Wow. I really get frustrated when both Amazon and the consumer get mislead. Please scrutinize every product offered by this company before you purchase. I don't comment on purchases I make on Amazon; I am remiss about that. But I felt it necessary because this really appears to be intentional.
