I bought this and it came with an UNUSABLE code (as in, you type it into the Three Designing Women site and it kicks it back to you as invalid). Buyer beware. Without being able to order my custom embosser plate, this product is total junk. Very unhappy with unresponsiveness to this issue.

This product is frustrating. First, you order the embosser through Amazon. Second, you receive a certificate to go onto the Three Designing Women website to create a stamp. The Three Designing Women website is incredibly antique and not helpful. You get no chance to view your custom stamp before your order is placed. You simply have to confirm the "spelling" is accurate and then you basically cross your fingers and hope your stamp turns out how you want it. There is a $5 fee for getting chance to view your custom stamp before you purchase; there is a $20 fee for creating customization outside of the "template" options presented on the website. There are more fees if you want to purchase additional stamps. My frustration with the Three Designing Women website alone was enough to make me regret my purchase.

Bought this embosser because I like the modern look offered by Three Designing Women. It's a solid piece - very nice! - and allows me to emboss the back flap of my envelopes and looks awesome. The only thing I was less thrilled about (but this really shouldn't prevent you from purchasing it, just know that it is) was the locking mechanism. You need to press the embosser down and move a pin down in order to open it. The pin can be hard to move since the pin is kind of flat.
