Really great product although quite expensive. We have a mixed aggregate pool deck which hasn't been coated/sealed in about 5years. To do the full deck it would require 5 of these plus 5 gallons of the acrylic paint to mix in. When you do the math it is pricier than traditional pool patio paint & sealant but still half the cost of the estimate I received for having a "cool" deck overlay done by a contractor.
Application was really easy, but you really need to make sure the surface is thoroughly cleaned (we presurred washed days prior) and while it says you can apply when temps are up to 90, we were pushing it at 87degrees for which it gets real tacky and tricky to apply. I only did one kit to see how it would work before fully committing to that expense, and did the rest in the patio sealant. Really pleased with how it feels and it does fill in hair cracks. I plan to start earlier in the spring next year and use this one the rest of the deck (visually you can't tell as paint color is the same everywhere). This was put in our high traffic area, so that may be an option for those looking to maximize the budget.

I did my pool area the beginning of last summer. It has held up through grandkids, parties, winter cold etc... I pressured washed it the beginning of this summer due to muddy doggy prints and it looks like it did when I first applied it. The deck IS significantly cooler to walk on. I've had other pools and have tried other products in the past, this is by far the best. I highly recommend COOL

This is a remarkable product we applied it to our cool deck that was so hot in the Las Vegas summer weather and when it dried we could walk barefooted on the the cement cool deck at 110 degrees. I just had enough to cover around the pool area and barely finished the patio as well. I will purchase again in the Spring to apply an additional cover. I'm extremely pleased with the product. Only thing to remember it thickens real fast my husband & I both rolled it on.
What you get is 3 gallons of product...

Product results turned out great. Only concern is that they send you a 5 gallon bucket, 1 gallon of powdered Cool Deck material and 1 gallon of liquid. You have to buy another gallon of Latex paint, whatever color you want. That equals 3 gallons, but they advertise it as 5 gallons of Cool Deck Coating. I had to water it down at the end to complete one coat. The second coating was another gallon of stain for concrete that I also had to buy.
