I don't know if this is because my toe is so messed up or not but instead of adjusting my big toe to the right, it pushes to the left more (I bought one for my left foot). So it is very uncomfortable and not doing what I thought it was supposed to do. The worse part is that the seller does not accept returns... So I am stuck with a product, which I will not use.

I work on my feet everyday for 10-12hrs. I noticed my foot was hurting. I went to the doctor he took X-rays and my bone is slightly moving. He recommended a splint (since I don't want to have surgery at the moment). This is the second one I tried and I LOVE IT! It's very soft the Velcro is holding up nicely and it keeps everything in place. I wear it at night and to sleep in. It's a bit bulky to wear with shoes. If you are looking for relief order this you will not be disappointed. Trust me!

Excellent support, comfortable, easy to put on"¦ I woke this morning nearly pain-free, and able to walk without compensating pronation, after years of hallux rigidus and osteoarthritis in the grand toe. I've suffer with a painful, unbending big toe. As a result, I typically walk on the outside of my foot, which is resulting in a planter fasciitis... A.k.a. a major ouchie in my arch. I have been wearing Aetrex insoles for a while, and have recently started to use soft toe braces during the day along with investment-grade orthopedic shoes (Finn Comfort). These have provided some relief. But after one night, I believe this brace is making a real difference.

Prevents bunion from getting worse & pain relief

You will never be able to wear this product with a shoe it is too bulky. They will work best when you are lying down or sitting. When you walk in them the weight of your foot will stretch out the the velcro fasteners, you will have to tighten them to fit once again. I wear an 8-8.5 shoe. If my foot was any smaller this item would probably not work for me.
I had to train my toes to be in this harness over time. At first you will do small increments of time and later your foot will get used to it. This product will relieve the stress off your big pushing in to the others and by pulling it back you are increasing flexibility & range of motion. My bunions are hereditary and I don't fell this product will make them go away but I do think it may work as a preventative measure to keep them from getting worst, stretching out the toe, and offering relief from the pain.
The velcro did start to lose it's grip after less than 10 uses.

I used it last night and kept a short sock on and it stayed on my foot fine. This is worth the money. It does gently pull the big toe back into place more so than without out it. I can "feel" it's gentle tug. I have no idea if it will really make any changes in the long run to my toe but I am willing to try it. This item seems sturdy and well made. Has a lot of padding on the bottom and the Velcro works fine anyplace you put it. I would say give it a try and let's all hope for the best for our feet!!
