Excellent product

This is an excellent product, specific in purpose and built to last. I use three of them to hold closed a large painted plywood lid on an inverter enclosure inside a shed. I like the security latch feature that slows down people unfamiliar with the feature from opening the enclosure.

I rate it 4 1/2 stars. Like the locking pin, but wish the springs were a little stiffer, at least for the application that I used them for. They were used on a large 1/4" thick alum. plate that covered an open pit. Thus the reason for using 8 of them. The SS metal should function quite well in the ocean air.

I got these clamps/clasps to use on my chicken coop nesting box and they work great, high quality and allow some spring preload to keep lid tight. Very high quality.
