Solid design.

I can't speak to the longevity of this vent, but it is the best design I have found so far as it has a flapper to keep bugs and heat,cold out while fan is off. However, you must make sure you close the little tabs on the bottom of flapper before towing long distances to keep flapper from over flapping and breaking off prematurely. Also it is more aerodynamic than any other vent design in it size and shape I have found so far. Even if it only lasts a few seasons I will replace w/same design.

As others have complained, mine was cracked when it arrived. I think I can still use it for what I need; it's just a shame that I paid full price for a broken product. I'm not sure whether it's an issue with the product or the packaging, but I would order again.

I first bought a "similar' product from a local RV store. It didn't fit. They assured me that the OEM product was no longer available. I found the OEM product here at Amazon anyway. The first order arrived broken. I almost returned it and gave up. I re-orderd and it arrived unbroken. It fit perfectly, looks great and now we can vent out spaghetti stream and bacon smoke. I am a happy camper. Thanks Amazon!

Direct fit replacement for an existing vent cover. Seems to be good quality. Vent flapper appears to be made of same quality as the previous one that ended up breaking off after 8 years.
