In reply to some of the reviews I've seen that it's not large or small enough or doesn't challenge at the right level : This is the medium size if the x-light firmness ball, there is a smaller & larger size of this firmness but there is no lesser firmness. For more firmness move up to the red which is light firmness, green which is medium firmness, blue for heavy firmness, black for x-heavy firmness. All of the firmness levels have a small, medium or large grip size available. I think this is a great product that can be used for home & clinic setting hand therapy.

Bought it for a lovely lady who fractured her wrist, and after the cast was removed, was advice to use that hand as much as possible in different ways. This Digi-Squeeze Hand Exerciser, if anything, is not as soft as others, it takes a little more pressure, but it does fit the criteria if used diligently. 4 Stars.

Just what I needed to strengthen my wrists and exercise my fingers. I was getting hand pain and my fingers were cramping. Just arthritis I believe. with this exerciser, I don't have pain if i do it regularly. Like 2 times a week for about 3 min.

This is a good exercise piece to have at your desk to give your hands a break from the keyboard. It was the right size and tension for a 5'10" 170 lb. man who golfs. The grooves allow for both full hand gripping (all finger joints) as well as exercising just the distal joints.
