Sturdy & Reasonably Priced Lamp

Relatively speaking, this lamp with reading light is reasonably priced and we've found them to be very sturdy when assembled -- a quality many lamps of this type seem to lack (we've found most of them are very wobbly and want to lean). So far, I've bought 4, 2 for the home and 2 for a local non-profit. We've needed to return 1 because a fitting between post pieces was mis-threaded and could not be assembled. But the return was very easy and, given the price and quality of the lamp overall, it was worth waiting for the replacement which came very quickly (as did all the other lamp orders). (Technically, I had to return for credit and order a new lamp; there was no direct replacement option. But this process took only a few minutes.)
We also really like the 100 and 60 watt flexibility. The upper lamp can go as high as 100 watt bulb; the arm 60. That upper light is really bright at 100, which is exactly what we wanted. But I like the idea that we can minimize that with a lesser watt bulb if we change our minds.
A couple things to note, in case it matters in your purchase decision "¦ The half globe at the top is plastic, not glass. You can't tell by looking at it and it doesn't impact functionality. Also, there are no dimmer switches. It's either full on or off for both the upper lamp and reading arm.

This light is bright, easy to assemble looks nice, meets all my expectations. They don't tell you what to do with the extra cord on top, so you find a way to stuff it into the pipe. Nice heavy base for stability. A good value.
Great Light but slight "nut" problem.

I really like the light. We did have a problem in on of the nuts came stripped. The company was very responsive when I asked for a new replacement nut. Unfortunately they were not able to obtain the replacement nut but refunded some money and instructed us to go to Home Depot to get the replacement. We went to Home Depot and were suprised that they had a packaged set of 2 nuts that looked the same although they were white instead of black. (Not a problem since out of sight) However, when we got home, the threading on the Home Depot nut was smaller than the origninal nut so it would not fit.
Fortunately for me, this light was replacing a very similar type of lamp. I took that lamp apart and they had the same nuts for thier lights so I was able to replace the stripped nut that came with the lamp and return the unused Home Depot nuts for a refund.
So while this exercise was a hassle, the light is up and running and we do like it. I appreciated that Light Accents both reached out to see how the light worked and tried to resolve the problem. I would suggest given the problem with the replacement nut they either - work with their manufacturer to fix the problem with the nuts; get some replacements; find an exact part number for customers to use at Home Depot or someplace else that has the exact product.

Decent lamp for the price. Own two, and the first, at over 1 year, still operates without problem. The on/off switch for the main lamp seems a bit flimsy and inexact, but has nonetheless held up thus far. Was very hopeful that I would not need to return, as I most certainly would have failed at attempting to get the lamp in original package/box, which occupies the space of two side-by-side shoe boxes!
Good, solid base, but the lamp does lean slightly on carpeted surface. A shim corrected the issue so all is cosmetically OK. In contrast to issues raised in a few reviews, I encountered no problems in threading the pole sections. I performed these operations in vertical as opposed to the recommended horizontal orientation.
Would be great to have available in three-way. Would be a rather straightforward DIY retro, but I'm quite content with the fixed switch, fed with a 150 W GE reveal bulb. BTW: Still with my original bulb after one year with daily use, so the lamp is evidently not a bulb eater!
