Something to put in a hole, yes. RPM gauge... not that great. It was cheap, and I got exactly what I paid for. When this gauge displays a 3, it's a backward "F". the segments work fine, but the 3 doesn't light up the bottom segment of the display. otherwise, when used on my 6cyl with a MSD and tach output, the RPM jumps all over the place. idle shows fine, high RPM is mostly fine, but on the way up or down, sometimes this gauge will show 8-9000 rpm when I around 4000.
I'm pulling this out, and getting an analog gauge.

Had this for one month. Hooked it up and worked the first time. The second time I used it all it would display was zero. Has not worked since. Aug 2017 seller contacted me and quickly replaced broken one with a new one that works great
Looks nice but didnt use.

Giving it a three because I really couldn't use it. I got it to put on a motorcycle but its just to big and the bracket is too small and flimsy. Would work fine in a car but not so much on a motorcycle. I cant speak to its performance because I never wired it up.
