Works well, not completely waterproof

This cover has saved our mattress several times from being completely ruined by an elderly cat that has occasional bad behaviors due to her being kinda a jerk, not because of health. Messes have seeped through a little but just enough that it was easily cleaned up because the mattress didn't get saturated. But after several washings, it is less effective. I did order another one again, because I'm happy with the results compared to other protectors. Worth the purchase, as long as it doesn't saturate for a whole day and it will need to replaced after several washings due to loss off waterproofing effectiveness. Better than replacing an expensive mattress!

This is an extremely soft and well made mattress cover. The look and feel of this cover doesn't seem like it will prevent spills through it onto your mattress but this was amazing! My mom spilled a large glass of iced tea on it and I was sure the mattress was soaked but when I removed the cover and the sheets the mattress was dry!! Not even a little damp. I highly highly recommend this mattress cover!!

Been using this cover for 7 months and it saved my temperpedic! Currently have two dogs who bring in sand.. dirt.. all the great stuff and this protector doesn't let it through. Most recently though it saved my expensive mattress from one of my criminal fur children who decided to chewable bone on my bed. Their were no blankets on my bed at the time so when I tell you their was a PUDDLE of dog drool on my bed I was freaked. Low and behold this protector held its ground and PROTECTED like it was fort nox, not one bit of drool was on my mattress after stripping the bedding!!!

I think this cover is great. Mom now needs it and the mattress cover works GREAT!!! I was not sure it would work it was so thin, so I used 2 different kinds. I put the quilted one on top, don't ask me why, but I did. Mom had a big accident and the quilted cover did not work. But this one did. I was so happy. I just use this pad now. I have 2 now. They wash well but take some time to dry. So I strip the bed and but the other one on so Mom can hop back in bed. I am well pleased. Highly recommend it!

I would say this mattress protector is waterproof. It held up a pool of blood and dogs going onto the bed or any type of spills with drinks! I am very impressed! I would buy again! very soft and saved my mattress! Perfect for the price! It lasted me 3 years! It would've lasted me longer if I didn't bleed out with a miscarriage! Easy to wash! Great purchase I made. This is better than walmart brands that crinkle and move when you sleep or move around.
