I was skeptical about this bathmat, but you know when you buy from amazon ''fool me once'' but it really works to keep me and my family from slipping and it fits my bathtub perfectly. The reason i got this is its a family of 6 3girls and i know everyone ''let go'' in the shower so loafers or anything that holds liquid was a no can do for my feet. I NEED their dirty soapy water to go down the drain!!!!!! so this works great NOW for the hard part, you have to be patient putting it down because the air bubbles was a MF

After reading the many, mostly rave, reviews I purchased this product for our new tub in the newly renovated bathroom. It came in a box with another item. The mat was wrapped but did not have any instructions. Therefore, I went back to read Dark Raven's review along with his recommended directions, and started installing the mat.

It took me about 30 minutes once the tub was washed well and dried. I did mark the corners at the drain, and planned to start with the far long side and work toward me on the outside. But, due to the height of the tub and the shower doors, it quickly became clear I would have to get inside the tub.

Got the drain part done, then just moved a few inches at a time back toward the head of the tub. Wound up having to move onto the mat to finish at the end of the tub. The mat was a little long, so cut it a bit so it didn't climb up the wall. All in all, thus far, I'm thrilled with it. I'll have to come back to let you know how long it stays sticked and how well.

I bought a house a year ago with a chipped cast iron bathtub. I wanted a quick "fix" that wouldn't cost a lot of money and found this mat.

Half the reviews seemed to say it didn't work and the other half were great.

I've had this mat for over 6 months now and am here to say it WORKS!

I had no issue installing, just make sure your area is clean and prepped. I used to a credit card to press down the edges and make sure it didn't have air pockets.

Still to this day the mat remains 100% in place. Its easy to clean (I use scrub daddy paste or bar keepers friend to really get in the texture).

The media could not be loaded. I've never been so excited about a basic purchase lol. I got a backstory and everything!

My new townhome was previously housing some very filthy individuals. No amount of cleaning could undo some of their stains left behind, and my shower was one of them. I had to pry the mat as best as possible because I didn't feel comfortable showering on it. I got a basic suctioned grey mat to put over the left over nasty residue as a temporary fix. Then I found this on Amazon as my permanent!

I did what common sense told me to do. I first showered so I wouldn't need to again for a while so the adhesive could properly stick. I then cleaned the tub out with a few cleaning products and thoroughly rinsed it clean. I let it air dry with a window open for a couple of hours before I towel checked it to be sure and began to actually apply this Mat.

I first lined it up to my comfort then used cleaning products (dry bottles!!!!) to weigh down the ends. I unstuck the corners of the opposing end so it was lined up and set in stone. From there I stuck the rest down slowly ensuring I wouldn't caused any bubbles...... welp. I have adhd and that lasted a good 45 seconds before I said f* that and sped through the rest. I was disappointed in myself when I seen the amount of bubbles I had (not much but I would've preferred none) but surprisingly, these bubbles go away so easily!! A little bit of elbow grease and it's like they don't exist. I was so shocked, especially with all the negative reviews about the adhesive and bubbles, I ran to grab my phone for this video lol. I am doing this review 2 weeks from when I installed it, no bubbles, the edges aren't coming up! You might as well say it's apart of the tub itself because it looks amazing!! I'm extremely happy and hope others give this a go without feeling deterred!! I can finally take a bubble bath without feeling icky!!

1. It did not come with instructions, it didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out how to put it on.
Its just like putting on a screen saver on your phone. You have to smooth the air bubbles out its not hard at all. You have to get inside your tub to line it up even .
Took only 25-30 mintues. What a big difference i have a brand new tub. It's non slip. Good quality.
