A Small Quality Clock with Many Uses

I have been in search of a small clock for my bathroom mirror for some time. I have used plastic clocks that use suction but have had trouble with them staying in place and/or poor battery life. When I saw this clock it thought it might be my answer and it definitely is. First, this little clock looks and feels like a wrist watch without a strap, of course. It is water resistant, has a Japanese movement (which have good reputations) and it has a mineral crystal. The case has a flat bottom which allows it to stand alone and it comes with a velcro tab so it can be stuck securely to my mirror. After a close inspection of the back of this clock, I could see the back can be removed and the battery can be replaced just the same as watch batteries. Also included was a calibration document. I am collecting all my plastic suction clocks for a garage sale and buying another one of these for a second bathroom mirror. This clock is also perfect for people who need to time a presentation or project because it does stand alone.
Keeps time, long lasting.

I purchased this in April of 2014 for ~$14.00. I paid full price and don't accept discounted products. My rating criteria is as follows. If the product works as is advertised and the quality is in line with the price then I give it five stars tentatively, then deduct stars for usability problems, functionality problems, flaws, quality, etc.
Really clocks are pretty easy to evaluate...either they keep time or they don't. This one does, and has since April 2014, on the same battery. (EDIT July 2017--battery died.)
I have this mounted such that it doesn't ever move and is rarely handled, so the one thing I can't comment on is its durability--if dropped I don't know how tough it is nor do I now how well the finish holds up under a lot of handling.
Having said that, for my uses it receives five stars.

It pained me to pay this much for a MIMI Clock but it's exactly what I wanted, even the color. I needed a clock on my tractor because I will not carry anything that I can lose or drop, to be lost or destroyed by the mower. I wanted to be able to mount it so I could see it at all times. It comes with a small square of velcro to place on the clock and on the surface to be mounted, which I did, right in the middle of my gauge panel. PERFECT!!!.......until, the heat of the day and the engine loosened the glue on the velcro and I "almost" lost the clock. Now I realize I'm probably the only one who's using this on his tractor but, you need to be aware of that possibility. Now I need to figure out a better way of mounting. Other than that, I LOVE this expensive little clock. If it wasn't for the incident with the velcro, it would have 5 stars for sure, even for the money.
This is the only SMALL waterproof clock available, it's perfect.

I just want a small unobtrusive clock for the wall in my shower and this is perfect. Maybe 1/4" thick and 1 or 1 1/2 " diameter, and waterproof (it gets hit by a lot of shower spray). I use waterproof silicone glue to stick it onto the tile wall (the sticky pads it comes with would not work for the shower).
Other shower clocks available are about 4-5 inches in diameter and an inch or two protrusion out from the wall which is far too much bulk and un-necessary size, with the addition of suction cups that peak out from the edges in an unsightly manner, to say nothing of reviewers who comment the suction cups fail eventually.
This Thomas Traceable Stick-It Mini Clock is exactly what I want, and the only small waterproof clock I could find. I had another one almost exactly like it but after 2-3 years I had to replace the battery a couple times and the last time I dropped it by accident and broke it :( So I had to search the whole internet to find a similar replacement and this was it.

This was purchased for use in my car because the clock in my new car stereo is so tiny that I can't read it while driving. I considered a cheap digital clock but the reviews mentioned problems caused by heat and cold which are both extreme where I live. This has solved my problem admirably. It sticks well with the velcro though in my vehicle it is also supported by a ledge. After a summer's worth of heat I can report that there have been no problems at all and it continues to keep perfect time. If I have any problems with it in the cold I'll revise my review. I took off one star because it would be perfect if it glowed in the dark. But since that's the only time I can actually read the radio clock I'm covered.
7/11/2016 I'd just like to update this review and say that after two years I've not had any problems with this clock and it's been exposed to extreme heat and cold.
