AcuRite 75102 9.5" Large Digital Clock with 3.75" Digits and Intelli-Time Technology This digital clock is quite easy to read, with the digits being about 4" high. It's being used in indirect light; if it were in direct sunlight, the glare from the screen might impede visibility. Overall, it appeared much smaller than I anticipated when it arrived, but it's working great for the area I am using it in--a large (20x40) conference room. Battery installation was simple, as was setting the clock. Once I indicated my time zone and daylight savings preferences, it automatically set the clock to current time. Use care when hanging it on the way--it's way too easy to press the set button and have to cycle through everything again. It does seem to be a little more cheaply made than I had anticipated, but so far it's working much better than the chronological clock it replaced.

There is no alarm for sneaky kids to set for 3 AM. There is no cable to mess with. I used rechargeable batteries. We are doing school at home, and my kids asked what time it was about every 90 seconds during their breaks. This has prevented me from going crazy, and that has great value to me.
Does not light up, so you can't read it at night.

We put this digital clock over the desks of our 3rd & 6th grade boys and they love it. It has helped them join their meetings on time. They like that they can see the time if they are e.g. across the room reading on the couch. It is a great tool for helping them work independently. It has kept time well (it may be a few seconds behind at most) and is easy to see/read. Their space might be messy, but it's a good set up for them and they are doing awesome!
