I am rehabbing an injury and my foot was falling off the pedal on one side. I added these and it works good. I put my bike in a stationary bike stand.
Rescued my biking experience!

For years, my bike riding experience has been hampered by the effects of neuropathy in my legs and feet, causing my feet to fly off the pedals at inopportune times, and my legs to struggle to keep my feet aligned. These adaptive pedals provide support for my entire foot--not just the toe end--and straps to secure both the heel and the entire foot. They were easy to install (using an allen wrench and a socket set) and appear very durable.
Gets the job done

Installation instruction non included. I was shipped and obviously returned and opened and previously installed item, but all the hardware was there and it installed ok.
Worked great

I wear an AFO brace on my right ankle and leg which makes riding a bike impossible because my foot kept coming off of one pedal. However I was determined to figure this out. A physical therapist friend suggested this device which looks and works much like a wheelchair foot would work for a paralyzed person or a person with limited foot movement. The only caveat I would say is that, being right side dominant, I attempted on my first short ride to stop and put my right foot down which was strapped into the pedal....which of course was impossible! So I fell over like a bowling pin! If you are using these on a regular bicycle you need to plan accordingly. I am thinking maybe I can modify the straps into some kind of quick release thing or whatever. I am anxious to see how they hold long term if I were to ride for a short to mid range distance. But...so far so good! Easy to install too, which was good.
