I tried to use these for lights around my makeup mirror. The clips themselves are EXCELLENT. They held rope LED lights. They held candelabra sockets. I predrilled holes into the tabs at the end to hold onto the mirror frame which worked great. Unfortunately, none of these concepts worked on my mirror but that was NOT because of these clips. I'm going to repurpose them for something they are so good.

Great for hanging patio lights.

I used these to hang lights above my patio. I hooked first attached these to all of the bulbs and then to the gutter. The clips held the lights very securely and easily attached to the gutters. They have been up for approximately 6 weeks and not a single one has come loose, this is including during high winds and heavy rains. I got enough in the package that I may even be able to use these for my Christmas lights but if not I will not hesitate to buy more.

Doesn't hold on the tile. They are strong clips so I found another area to stick part of it in a hole and use it that way. I just wish the plastic had enough grip to hold on to my tile roof.
