I bought this to help organize my remotes and cell phones. Unfortunately, with the proactive phone cases, the phones are too wide to fit and some remotes are too thick. Good for pens and holding some mail. Better options available.

I thought this would be a little bit bigger. The two tall slots in the back on right are only suitable for pens, pencils, letter openers, etc. I already have cup holders for those items. I bought it to corral all my little notes and note pads. It works well for that, but in my opinion has that wasted space in the back. The front slanted section on the right is perfect of post-it-notes. So overall I like it, but I don't love it.
Nice for Organizing Desk Supplies

My son is going off to college in a few weeks, so I ordered this to help him be organized. I had looked for similar items at my local office supply store and local discount store, but what they had cost more than I wanted to pay. This has enough spots to store a variety of desk supplies and it was a good price. The material is sturdy enough for storing pencils and such. It was just what a I wanted.
Pointy things poke through the bottom

It is a nice size and about the quality I expected. What I missed is when you put pointed things in it (e.g. pencils, pens, scissors) that they poke through the bottom and will leak, scrape, scratch the table they are on. I cut a plastic insert as a way around the problem and it seems to be working.
